The method
The calculation multiplies the time each occurrence takes by how many times a week, how many people do the task and how many weeks are worked in a year (45 by default, holidays removed). The hours are then multiplied by the loaded hourly cost: gross salary plus employer contributions, or your own hourly rate if you are self-employed.
Which tasks should you measure first?
- Answering quote requests and repeated questions (hours, prices, lead times).
- Following up on quotes left unanswered.
- Copying information from one tool to another.
- Asking customers for a review after a job.
- Finding new customers and writing to them.
These are the tasks Ablyos's agents handle. The calculator doesn't predict what you would gain: it measures what the task costs you today, to decide where to start.
